Opening Day Celebration

Our 2022 Opening Day is this coming Saturday (April 23)

By 8:45 AM, ALL Players should be in full uniform and assembled on the driveway at Springton Lake Middle School (SLMS) adjacent to the soccer/Babe Ruth fields (see map below). We will line up on the pavement and grass by team (from T-Ball up through Major). There will be no parking on the stone lot in the complex because it will be reserved for our invited guests. We encourage everyone to park at SLMS and walk over to the MLL Complex.

Beginning at 9:00 AM, the parade of teams will make its way over to the complex and onto the Major League field, where the Opening Day Ceremonies will commence (see route below). The Ceremonies will include recognition of distinguished guests, recognition of former board members, musical performances from those in our community, and a few words of inspiration from our guest speaker. The ceremonies should end by 11:00 AM at which games will commence.
