Continental League Evaluations

Continental League evaluations will be Saturday, March 13th from 9:00-1:00. All players who have not been evaluated yet & are playing in the Continental League must evaluate. This is a slimmed-down version of evaluations so the league can make teams as even as possible & also gauge where the players are as far as baseball abilities after almost 2 years off.

You are receiving this email because one of your players are registered for the Continental League.

The sessions will be at the Springfield YMCA (at 194 W Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA). Click here for arrival instructions, as well as, what your child(ren) can expect once inside the building.

To provide adequate spacing and to adhere to Springfield YMCA guidelines, we are strictly controlling the entry of MLL evaluation participants into the YMCA. Parents will not be permitted into the facility with their players. If you arrive without having registered for a time slot, and all the slots at that time are full, we will not be able to evaluate your player.

Coronavirus Mitigation Protocol:

All sessions will follow CDC and Pennsylvania requirements.
All sessions will follow the Springfield YMCA's protocol.
Each slot will be limited to 4-players and the evaluators (there will be less than 20 people in the 3,000 square foot space).
The evaluation area is a large area and all players will be required to maintain 6 feet social distancing.
Due to restrictions, admission to the building will be limited to players and evaluators.
Everyone in attendance is required to wear a mask at all times.
Everyone in attendance is required to maintain a 6-foot distance.
Hand sanitizer stations will be available.
Players should stay in their cars until their time slot.
We will have people in the Parking Garage who will direct.
Players will check-in at the door in the YMCA garage.
A designated Board Member will walk players from the front door to the Evaluation Room. They must be masked and maintain social distance.
When completed, a designated Board Member will walk the players from the Evaluation Room to the front door in a similar fashion as their entry.
